Its offical - I hate my scirocco

Post by PhilJ »

So went to get the camber and tracking setup finally, matey rings me up says I need to come have a look at it.

Get there to find that where the wishbone bolts to the car, has a rather large crack all the way round the chassis :dash:

My mates threatening to weld it up, for me it'll never be right. Think I'll break it unless someone wants it cheap? Got loads of new bits...

Yeah game over I reckon! No idea... literally went over a dip in the road and bang, must of done it then, I changed the wishbone and didnt notice it then done a few miles and went to get the alignment done.

Must of been on its way for a while at a guess?

Ouch that does not look nice at all, even if you put a plate over it or ect you will still have the problem of the wheel aligment. I would say take it to a body shop or ect to see what they say but I would say it will not be the same if you did get it repaired. Just get a good shell and swap things over simples.
