Need to bush up on this but are the mk2 golf steering rack a different length to the rocco ?
I got a feeling they are but not 110 % sure.

etka gives different numbers for golf2 and sciroccos, but same number for golf1, which you would expect as sciroccos are on same platform as golf1. Length of rack may be the same but will it fit? Mounting, steering tube attachment, etc.

yup, they're different. if they were the same then we'd all be driving roccos with power steering ;)
