Gearbox Oil Leak

Post by hanna.melbo »

Evening all...I have gearbox oil leaking from around the driveshafts. Does anyone have part numbers or links to where I can find the gaskets?
1.8i DX engine, manual gearbox if that helps!
Thanks in advance

Repair kit is 020498085E, only available as an aftermarket part, plenty listed online. I think that is what you are looking for. I based this on a 1990 model year, but I guess that it would suit all DX engined cars

2017 VW Scirocco 1.4 TSI 125 PS Flash Red (2025 - )

you will need a compression type clamp to be able to push the driveshaft cup flange in a bit to release the circlip holding the cup flange on
only then can you change the seal
