For some reason, both the drivers side and passengers side door rubber seals have decided to disengage from the inner frame of the doors simultaneously (or nearly simultaneously).
Got an MOT coming up - I gather I can get these back on with something like 3M VHB tape?
Clean up seal and frame properly with isopropyl and microfibre cloth, stick tape on seal, then carefully reapply, is what I'm getting from internet.
Is this a workable solution?
What tape do I need? 3M VHB? And what width? 5mm or 1cm?

Re: Tape for door seals
Are the seals loose on the flange? Normally they need a fair amount of force to pull off. Contact adhesive might be another option

Re: Tape for door seals
is this the door seal that goes around the entire frame? or just the metre long bit that goes from the the top down the A pillar?
if its the latter i used https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/275814562078 ... 7525268782
worked really well and nice and soft so doesn't damage the paint on the door from the old brittle plastic

Re: Tape for door seals
If you mean the seals that run along the roof and down the A-pillar, I have reproduction ones in a set.
