Just gauging if there is anyone interested in buying a left hand drive 1981 Mk 1 GTi, which is now tax exempt, before I spend time in posting a formal For Sale ad in the Classifieds.
Car is red, and has a full Zender bodykit, but it does need some tidying up.
I believe the engine is a later 1.8 (installed in Belgium by a previous owner) with, a few years ago, Peak Power of 122.4 Hp @ 6200 RPM and maximum Torque of 113.5 Ft-Lbs @ 3450 RPM.
SWMBO has decreed that I should sell in order to free up space and time for my other projects !
