I saw this low mileage LHD Mk2 Scirocco GTI on the Historic's Auction house site. It sold yesterday for 5040GBP.

It looks like a Scirocco Register sticker on the windscreen so maybe it was owned by someone on here (or maybe will be again)?
The car looks to be in very nice condition and well optioned with air conditioning and power windows.
The site list it as a 1985 model, but the VIN is of a 1984 model (older than my 1984 by several months).
It's interesting to see the Mk1 Golf GTI on the same site sold for quite a bit more (13040GBP) even though its a year older and has 200,000 miles. It is a more interesting color and being RHD is better suited for the UK, plus Golfs have always been more popular. Sort of happy if Scirocco prices don't go through the roof though...
