Front wing removal

After removing all of the bolts, whats the best method to get the front wings off and on. What tools are needed apart from brute force. What is the gaulk material called that bonds them on called. Any tips appreciated. Compared to a Polo I had years and years ago, they are glued on a lot tighter.

you can use a wire windscreen removal tool. or i generally use a flat knife and a hammer
