I've just retired after 44 years at sea as a ships engineer (marine Engineer)
I'm too young to give up working totally. Was going to do temp work in my own field.
However friends and family have convinced me I should go into classic car repairs.
I've got a well equipped garage know my way round cars mechanics and electrical systems. I'm pretty good with Kjet injection systems. Have the correct test gauges.
I particularly like getting barn finds or cars that have been left going again. I will have a go at any car but prefer to stick with early water cooled VWs. I live in Bangor North Wales.
I have a car transport trailer so can pick up from just about anywhere. My cost will be reasonable. However I don't want to be under pressure time wise. A cat will be completed when it's ready. If you get my drift. I can also do a mobile service for servicing and fault finding.
No body work repairs. But will do minor welding work. No big body restoration thanks
