Bonnet Waffle Insulation

Post by GTXGTXGTX »

Have been giving my GTX some attention to break the lockdown boredom. New clutch cable and bulkhead repair plate, New servo non return valve, New throttle cable. Next job is bonnet insulation. I found some on ebay. It does not come with adhesive.

Any suggestions on correct adhesive? And any suggestions on removing the existing adhesive residue from the old insulation?

Cheers.

Have a word with Tom at Dreadnought, he’ll be able to help I’m sure.

I used white spirit to remove the adhesive. [emoji106]

Job done! Tried to post photo but file too large?

Also did oil change (Synta oil, vw filter) and replaced the defective Blapunkt Atlanta with one from ebay.

Sound as if it’s all coming together...

I use tapatalk app on my phone to post up pictures as you don’t have to worry about image size.
