What year is your scirocco?

Hi everyone
I own an early mk2 scirocco, June 1982, with only 31k on the clock.
I’m wondering if anyone in the uk has an earlier one?

mainly drivers side paint to sort as it’s faded

Both registered in April 1980, 2 days apart but in different countries.

Hi, I meant the date it was registered. It says on the V5 owners document in the UK

"Registered" as in the V5 and Belgian equivalent.

The. gov MOT history checker shows the exact registration date of every car if you enter the reg no, but I have a feeling Mr Brown might be referring to two of his own cars.

Just checked the MOT checker and it looks the date might not be 100% reliable - Walshy's is showing as 31 December 82 for example.
