Pic Request - Anti-Roll Bars

Post by Risocco »

Hi gents, anybody please do me a favour and post pictures of where and how anti-roll bars fit on a Scirocco. My car being a poverty-spec example didn't come with them and I have a set gathering dust that I'd like to fit on Sunday.

I know its a bit of a daft question but never had a car with them before, so no idea where they fit.

Cheers for any help in advance :good:

I'll try and get a pic when i pop to the garage today to deliver my front ARB to be refitted (mechanic gave me a little bollockin for takin it off lol) basically though, mounts to the top of the wishbones, and behind the rear wishbone mount/bush.

like i said if i can i'll grab a pic later today!

Are the wishbones different between GTi and non GTi spec?
I thought that some didn't have holes (or mounting points) for the ARBs

haynes manual has undercar shots and some diagrams.

upgraded bars usually come in non gti or gti format - ie the gti car kits come without the mounting hardware for the bars. see the autotech website in the USA for eg.
