With the cap on try a combination of leads and plugs, rest the plug on the block for the spark to go to ground. If you're not getting spark on any of the plugs;

1. check the coil lead to the distributor
2. check the power and ground to the coil
3. check pin fitment on the ignition module...Make sure the ignition module is bolted down as this is the ground.

check the main earth between the block and the the body, also check the earth strap between the head and coil clamp.

All the above are good options, I’m with James on the engine ground as I had this issue.
Let us know how you get on

Two days before it stopped from working I cleaned the engine bay, maybe this could affect something ?

How did you clean the engine bay?
Perhaps you have knocked or loosened something?

what did you clean it with?
did you use a garden hose on it? jetwash?
like mark said you may well have knocked something or shorted something out with water.
check all the fuses are good in case youve got an important one blown

Is there an alarm or immobiliser fitted to the car?

Good news.... Does the car now run or is it still over fueling? All that cranking over the engine with no spark would of not helped as fuel would still get pumped in.
You may need to remove and clean the spark plugs and possibly leave them out for an hour or 2 so any petrol in the cylinders will evaporate.
