Yeah, why was it scrapped?

Still have good memories of that one back when Rob owned it, that's pretty much back when I first got my Mk1, more than 7 years ago.

There were issues I believe with the Throbbe car being worse off than Adam's Scala and it was offered up as a rolling chassis but there were no takers.

I think Adam thought it was better to keep the White Scala which was pretty mint and use the running gear from the Throbbe car.

Was speaking with Adam the other day and he said it went to the scrappers.. I recall a rumour of Stu taking the car.

I knew I'd seen this car before....

I hoarded these old analogue scans in about 2002 when i was starting to become obsessed with Sciroccos......... God knows where I got these from....

Adam didn't want to scrap it but he couldn't give it away! Noone wanted it. Real shame.

Hi there,

I am having mine resprayed (same colour) but can't find which bloomin colour it is. It looks the same as yours. I have a choice of Gunmetal Grey, Pewter Grey or some silver colour. Any idea what the colour is or even better the colour code?

Cheers

Sean
