Hi guys recently bought myself my first mk2 GT2 1992. I'm trying to change the steering wheel over to a wooden aftermarket one with a boss kit. Can I get a boss that fits over the adaptor that sits over the spline? I don't really want to take it off as I know it's a pain in the arse. Any info will be much appreciated.

When I got my boss I made sure it was for Corrado, to make sure it would fir the large spline on the later Scirocco's

You have the bigger spline in the car, the shaft is thin but there is an adaptor on it. Your wooden steering wheel has a smaller hole and is not going to fit unle you take of the adapter on the shaft.

This looks like the adapter you have to take of the shaft I think.
