Coilovers?
Hi,
I'm looking to purchase some coilovers for my MK1 Storm. I've seen a few on flee bay but before I ordered wanted to ask incase there's any to stay away from? Few I've seen range around £200 mark.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
P.s The car is going to be slammed so I'm not expecting much from the ride whichever I get. Thanks

I have Joms on mine, fitted 4 years ago, just enough compromise between comfort and stiffness :)

Re: Coilovers?
Depends how low you want to go, I fitted some Koni shocks and Eibach springs this weekend, just the right amount of drop for me, plus my teeth dont fall out while i'm driving.

Re: Coilovers?
Hi guys,
I got those Jom's I think :D
I think mine are "out of their work range" They've been lifted by previous owner.
The ride feels REALLY jumpy, specially the rear end.
Does anyone know how to measure their "correct work range"? Maybe then they start to work again or they are busted...

Re: Coilovers?
If you fit anything but high quality coilovers you will ruin the ride and probably the handling, but it will look 'phatt' when slammed.......
Good quality shocks (decent springs, don't lower more than 30mm, if those on the car are original) and polybushing with decent tyres will give better handling, everything else is for looks.

Apparently the dreadful paint on my Rocco is PATINA....
