Are my body trims original to my mk2?

Post by art-b »

Hi,

I have a Scirocco GTI vmk2 that the VIN dates to 1982. It is red and has a black body kit similar to this: http://www.dubmodder.com/images/Scirocco2_teaser3.jpg

Is it possible that this is original to the car?

Thanks,

Artturi

I've got an 82gti mk2 also. I believe they were all built without the bodykit. And you should have the twin US style headlights, single wiper with a bonnet with a single washer jet and it should also have a 2 piece parcel shelf.

No GTIs were factory supplied with a body kit. Basically have a look at Dr Dub's Scirocco site.
