Often I notice a strong smell of fuel from front end of car, often hours after Ive driven it. Cant see anything obvious no drips on floor etc, took air filter off, for good look, couldn't find anything, but smell seems strong at carb..
Didn't notice this in the summer so its just started or summer dry air took it away.
Is it common for the carb to gas off after running? any other ideas where I might look. The fuel pump is now under bonnet (moved from under rear seat I think) and nothing obvious there....
Cheers
Chris.

Re: fuel leak mk2
look under the rear seat, where the top of the fuel tank is, the o ring for the fuel sender cap can perish, get a new one and away you go
