Selling my Scirocco MK1. I wasn't sure what to put as the model because the logbook says GLi and the car has the Storm badge on the back and all the other Storm stuff (leather interior, passenger side door mirror, Storm colour etc.). Runs well and I used it for commuting to work on the motorway earlier this year. The leather on the front seats is cracked and they need to be re-upholstered but I've been using it fine. The "S" has broken off the SciroccoStorm badge on the back (I will include a spare badge bit it needs refurbishing and the pins have broken off the back). It had a few "bodges" when I got it and I have tried to remove as many of those as possible.

New rain tray
New starter motor
New horn
New fusebox
New heater blower motor
New Bosch battery
New Tyres (less than 1000 miles) on Pirelli P Slot alloys x 4 (with all 4 plastic centre caps present)
Comes with 5 original wheels (manhole covers). Purchased these last year and wanted to get new tyres and fit these to the car but haven't had a chance.
New brake caliper fitted
In the last 5 years it has had new pads, discs, shoes, cam belt, HT leads, exhaust and has done less than 1000 miles in that time.

Needs the fuel relay fuse box mod
The front wings are fibre glass (were on there when I got it)
The dash does not light up when the lights are turned on (I believe it is the dimmer control (past of light switch) that is the problem).
The paint job isn't great but it looks presentable. It is never going to be a show car (in my opinion)
It will need rust proofing.
The trim on the back of the back seat is missing (but can be made up)
2 advisories on the MOT (need to look those up and will add here)
Driver's door mirror needs fixing/replacing as it is wobbly.
The dash is black but was brown (as you can tell from the ashtray) and it looks is good condition with only cracks near the windscreen vents. Will post some pics when I work out how to do it as it keeps saying they are too big when I have resized them)

A couple of bits come with it (nothing significant)

I reckon it would make a great car for this summer and then get some of the above things sorted over the winter and you've got a keeper.



I'm sure I've forgotten lots of things but OM me any questions. I want to sell it quickly or it will go into storage. It hasn't been driven in about a month and is in storage so I can only do viewings at the weekend unfortunately
