Wow this looks great. Do you think your supplier could do a similar kit for the SA version of the brake cross-linkage bar? It's a cantilever twist bar rather than the early push-pull pivot type to transmit pedal force to the brake servo
did check at the scrapper today , bought the new type system but wont fit the rocco , mk1 golf no problem , so i can help the guys with the cantilever system only for the golf's - around 40 quid excluding postage

Wow thanks for checking, what do you think stops it working on a Rocco? If you got one I would be interested for Golf anyway, along with a clutch cable thing...

Re: clutch cable bulkhead problems
the brace that the rocco has is a bit shorter in height , i will gladly send 1 over as i ordered 10 units and the found does not fit the rocco but the mk1 golf no problem , the bulk head is not the same

Re: clutch cable bulkhead problems
the scuttle panel ( maybe wrong her ) is about 20mm shorter but if you wanted to mod a bit it will go ,i am just going with the original setuo , but we have plenty of the twist type brake setups this side from 2000 model to 2009 model

Re: clutch cable bulkhead problems
hi guys , ok sis has got the package ( not going to send to her again as picking up or being at home is difficult for her ) , i am busy organising with chris ( mralpine ) to pick up from my sis this weekend if she is in so he can then get to mark and james ,
chris is also going to check on the parts in my sisters garage to see if we can package smaller and to see what we can do about the windscreen.
as said chris/mark/james these are on the house would just like feedback so the rest of the guys can see , but i think they are going to work out with postage around 80 quid a piece , just checking to see what sis had to pay for the package that side and if there are no hidden costs
but remember this includes the link from the pedal into the engine bay with new rubber grommet / the bulkhead mounted bracket / new clutch cable ( only thing you need to fit is 2 off m6 nuts / 2 off m6 thick washers around 22mm diameter / 1 off m8 washer and splitpin )
i have also asked chris to receive the 13 brake bars and the next 10 clutch kits , i will pay for them / postage / handling so long , maybe by sending 10 or more the postage might be cheaper , there will be a handling fee that side but will fix prices once known . but cant be that bad if its the right goodies the guys are looking for

as for the brake bar , what i saw is that the rocco has a 20mm extension piece at the back on the original golf bracket behind the booster and the scuttle tray seems to be 15mm lower , but if prepared to mod i suppose it will fit
