has anyone installed a windscreen before?
ive taken two out and broken both of them and would guess the same would happen trying to get it back in?
is there a method to getting them back in or does anybody recommend a firm or know anyone who would put mine in for cash?
i dont need it in yet but im very conscious it will need doing sooner or later especially as i cant take the car anywhere at the moment because of no tax or mot.

Re: windscreen instalation
Some suitable string wrapped round the rubber, bit of silicone lube or ky, get someone to push the screen in while you pull the rope out. Quite a few how to vids on facetube

Re: windscreen instalation
If you do fit it your self using the string method, when pulling the string/cord to get the seal over the metal move it in a circular motion so it lifts the seal so you don't tear or rip the rubber seal on the metal.

Re: windscreen instalation
at the bottom there teeth looking were the window and font wiper panel meet, and i use some lubrication were the string goes make life easy fitting.and get some one to hold it in place, its not a one man job you need 2 to fit it right.
