Head lamp clips

Post by Spacey3281 »

Hi,

Not sure if this is a silly question or not but I need a couple of head light clips for my MK2 (know they are hard to get hold of) - would anyone know if you can still get them from anywhere, or if not, what other alternative there is??

Thanks

Tracey

I ended up getting mine second hand off ebay. They occasionally come up on there. Expect to pay about a fiver per. I had to wait a while before the correct ones came up on there but they do pop up.

As far as alternative setups go, there have been some posts on here about rigging those up. I don't know about them, will let someone else answer that.

Hi,

Thanks for the posts, I am after the clips that attach to the car, not the light if that makes sense - so James, if you have any spare that would be great?

If not, dont worry, if the MK2 golf fit then I will just purchase a set of these, they're not much.

Thanks
Tracey

hey tracey this is what i have, to be honest they are in poor condition and the screws are rusted in the plastic, you could get them out but it will take time and patience. the plastic is reusable depending if you can get those screws out first. the postage would probably come to the same as just buying new ones off ebay. but if you want them there here
