Rubber rocker gasket

Post by jim91 »

After banging my head of wall with cork gaskets got a rubber kit from Heritage, just arrived there. Has studs with it, 4 longer and 8 shorter ones. As 8 studs on rocker assume that what smaller for, can anyone shed any light on what the longer ones are for???

Cheers :-D

They should be to replace the studs in the rocker cover otherwise the rubber gasket won't fit properly.

Have you got a stud extractor?

Its a generic kit. The long studs are for applications where there are brackets, etc, attached to the rocker cover
