Hi all, after lurking for while I decided to buy myself a Rocco... I've known the car for a number of years as it was owned by a friend.
Anyhow, back on topic, there are a couple of minor problems I could do with some assistance on... Firstly, the rear washer, it doesn't work, when I push the lever forward the relay kicks in and the wipers starts but no noise from the pump.. I've checked the pipe and it doesn't appear to be blocked, so assuming I'm trying it correctly and not pushing the wrong lever the wrong way... Does anyone have an idea of where to start troubleshooting?
Secondly, the full beam, it'll work when the headlights are on, but not if i just want to flash them quick to let someone thru etc...
Sorry to what will no doubt be standard noob questions, I did a Quick search and couldn't find anything, TIA!
Can anyone shed some light on a couple of issues?

The rear washer has its own tank in the back, has it got enough water in there?
If it has then either the pump has gone or maybe the wiring and associated fuses may have gone.
If you can turn the main beam on with the headlights on then you should be able to flash your beams with them off.
If not then I think the stalks may be the problem.

The headlight issue could be a cruddy contact ring.
You will need to pull the steering wheel off and the shroud. The stalk make contact with copper contact points when you push/pull etc. If it is all cruddy, you'll know it when you see it, just use some contact cleaner as a start point and try flashing the lights again.
I had similar on mine a few years ago. I have no idea where all the accumulated crap was from but a good clean had it sorted.

Apparently the dreadful paint on my Rocco is PATINA....

The rear wiper and the rear washer pump share the same fuse so if the wiper is working there must be power there. Unless there's a wire/connector broken on the pump it's most likely the pump itself.
