removal and refitting? any pointers would be appreciated as I have to do these at the weekend.

Carefully prise one of the end caps off first, then the rest of the strip will just pull up and off. They are sometimes held with adhesive, but pull off easily enough. Refitting is the reverse of removal, but you will see on the underside of the end caps, that they slide onto a small metal peg fixed to the roof. Pretty much self explanitary once you get the first end cap off. :hugegrin:

watch out tho they can lose there shape, when you remove them.
Best to remove them in the hot sun....When we get some :scratch:

ONLY READING THIS NOW
Had the roof resprayed not long back and the painter took mine out
Ahh now completely out of shape tried heat gun, boiling water to get back into shape no joy
Now on look out for replacements looked everywhere ebay etc etc no joy there either
Second Hand ones only slightly better got some of Junglist
Still looking for a mint set :ire:


There`s a blue scirocco blowin warm wind into my face
The sun is shining on the underside of the bridges
And there`s cars going by with smiles in the windows

Two long length's of roofing battern or 2 x 1.
On a hot day and leave in the sun then clamp together for a couple of hours and again leave in the sun..
Some times it works...
There again when we get some sun !
