LED for parking and rear clusters ?

Post by iroberts696 »

Am thinking about replacing the parking lights with LEDs ( would actually make them usefull, and worry free ), also prehaps replacing all the other bulbs on the rear cluster with LEDs

Anyone done something like this already ? if so how does it look ? effective ?

Presume I just need to check the bulb sizes and scour fleabay for LED equivalents or anyone know better , perhaps selling lot as a set ?

Tried it a few years back, didn't look right. Leds have advanced since then though. Would need ballast on the indicators

You can replace the flasher unit with one suitable for LEDs instead of installing ballasts.

Would need Leds all round then, not just at the rear

Not necessarily, I think many work with a combination of LED and standard bulbs...mine does. Just need to check the specs.
