I couldn't find one I ended up using mk1 golf convertible last one on the shelf in my local euro car parts

I gave up trying and had a look at part number 172957803K, as opposed the correct 534957803, the only difference I could see was 6.5cm in length, but there's plenty play. Fits a treat, £23.99 delivered from eBay.
Not surprisingly it is exactly the same length as the one it replaced, so I reckon someone had already done the same!
