Steering wheel boss adaptor horn not working

Post by eefy »

Fitted this lastnight but I cant get the horn working,

Image

the boss only had a single assuming live wire in it, connected it up to the wire and nothing!!!! i'm assuming that it must have to be earthed, would this be onto the boss its self? or onto the steering column?

will be looking at it again at weekend so any hints or help would be great :)

Cheers

Heath

A standard VW wheel has two wires a brown (earth) and a black one which is the one I assume you have connected to the horn push.
