Post by Jack92 »

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone knew the standard radio wiring off the top of their head?

Thanks :)

Im not going to lie i had a quick look and printed it off but just looked at the diagram more closely and am i right in thinking all it displays is the speaker wiring?

Im after the wiring which goes into the radio itself Ie the Permanent power, igg power ect.

Is it on that other diagram and me just being dumb and missing it?

Unless someone has put one in there won't be a switched live, just the permanent live and earth. Old radio cassette players didn't need it.

Ben.

It's on there, there are only four other wires.

Brown (br) is negative and labelled T4/1.

Red (ro) is power and labelled T4/2.

Blue/Grey (bl/gr) is illumination and labelled T4/3.

White (ws) is electric aerial and labelled T4/4.

Maybe the original radio harness was replaced with an ISO 10487 harness?
