Rear valances

Post by Reverend Frog »

I've put up a request in the parts wanted section, but thought i'd pick your collective brain...

I emailed VW heritage and they say that the mk2 valances are now no longer available, but the mk1 still are. i find that slightly odd.

does anyone know if these can still be sourced from anywhere (pattern or OEM) apart from cutting one off a donor car?

Partnumber 533 813 301 or 533 813 301E is vailable through classic parts. de

But you might get scarred of the price.

Ouch

That is scary.

looks like I'll be holding out for a second hand part.

The mk1 valance wouldn;t be correct, sure it wouldn't?

Watch out for different exhaust cut outs Rick - my GTL is totally different to the kitted cars.

Ant cut my one on the BRM - see project thread - and used a donor panel re the bottom section.

Was actually thinking that Sean. The exhaust outlet on mine is circular but my gt under the kit was kind of trapezium
