2 pipes coming out the vacuum unit were do they go there just hanging in engine bay

To dark at the moment but I'll get some pictures tomorrow as I'm driving my Mk1 this week as the weather is finally dry :-D

The hose you are holding connects to the pipe that is under your left hand, just above the white thingy.

The shorter pipe goes to the vacuum hose that has a screw inserted! The longer one goes to behid the manifold.

Do you now part number for the broken white part the tube goes into trying to order from vw heritage.

You may find that this part is now obsolete. It is no longer on VAGCAT, but try your local VW dealer for the part number and check the usual sources.

The part that has broken off was supplied complete and forms the vacuum off the brake servo.
