Post by thebrief_1979 »

After a long time underneath it it seem sthe pipe that attaches in the top right corner at the rear of the tank was totally holed - what is that pipe and
What size and where can I get it from
I have a mk2 gt2 k reg so it has a space saver saver and larger tank

Sounds like the gravity valve pipe. You should be able to replace without removing the tank, you may have to have flexible limbs!

VAGCAT shows the pipe as part number N90099601, try VW?

Cheers for the part number - that will come I useful - I am fortunately blessed with smallish hands so I recon I can get in there.

Is the tank on a carbed car presurised - if the gravity pipe is knackered - would this effect it
