im thinking of freshening the back end up and as this is a complete kit including bearings i thought it seemed a good deal.

Not used that kit, but I've just done that job over the weekend. While you've got it apart replace you might as well replace hand brake cables and fit a new spring kit for the shoes.

That link is brilliant, very usefull.
I'm gonna try the test they recommend and if they are still no good I'm gonna refurb it all.
I think I will order a spring kit while I'm at it.
Not so sure about the wheel Cylinders though I changed them a couple of years ago so they should be fine.
I will try the eBay brake kit and let u all know how I get on with them.

goes on a greasegun. bearing 100% stuffed with grease, no question. excellent tool

I bought that kit a few years ago and it all seemed vary good quality mate, been on mine for 2 years with no problems at all. I also got a spring set of ebay as well so everything was new :)
