hey all
My rocco tends to get used a lot more on the lanes than on track, so im going to replace the coilovers with some shocks and springs as the coilovers need work anyway. however, as i've never owned a rocco on shocks and springs im not sure which drop to go for.
they are by no means high quality units im looking at, but are available in 40/40, 60/40 and 80/60 mm drops (front/rear). im probably going to go for 40/40 but tempted to try 60/40.

I guess what im asking is; does anyone have any photos of their mk2's with shocks/springs with different drops? even a standard rocco would be useful to get the idea of how much drop the 40/60/80 etc will offer. mine currently sits rather high and im happy with this height.
cheers all

Re: shocks, springs and ride heights...
if you're going to be hooning round country lanes in it, i wouldn't go too low. mine started at 80mm all round, and it just didn't have enough suspension travel to cope well on bad tarmac. inished with 40mm all round on jamex springs and short throw shocks.
Re: shocks, springs and ride heights...
nice one nate, ill try 40/40 then, im guessing this is similar in ride height to what im running anyway.
cheers :)

Re: shocks, springs and ride heights...
is that 215 for springs and shocks? that's a good price (assuming the parts are any good)
Re: shocks, springs and ride heights...
yeah, seems to be for the entire unit.
However, i offered the guy on ebay 135 plus 20 postage, and he counter offered 145 plus 20 postage. so for 165 posted i think i'll just try the cheap non-adjustable 40/40mm units. ill report back when fitted :)

Hi, Did you ever fit these shocks? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sport-Suspens ... 3f1afdb28a were they any good as I've been thinking about giving them a try at -40mm drop all round.
