Today's MOT result: a pass!! :D

CO was measured at 0.99%, miles better than the previous 5.90%. I'd just like to say thanks for all the help, especially for your tip RE the colortune Nate - if I hadn't have used that, I'd have sent the car back with a really rich mixture still! I'd say that the colortune is a valuable tool to own if you have a car on a carb after having had a play with it :)

I'm going to run the mixture slightly richer again, I was advised by the mechanic that 1.50% is a good figure to aim for, and I've found that my cold start isn't good on a lean mixture. Although to be fair I think some of that is to do with my carb setup - I'll be having a go at that again this week, lucky me :lol:
