Fuel Gauge..

Mines never worked.. So I'm gonna try and rectify it!

I did briefly look at it when I first got the car but there were bigger issues to sort first. No voltage was showing on either of the connections to the sender, I bridged them but got no response from the dash..

Has anyone tackled this job already and got any pointers for me?
I'm hoping its not the instrument panel at fault!

from memory, the sender is in the -ve, not the +ve, so earthing out the wire from the sender to the gauge should show a full tank. i'd check that on the wiring diagram before doing it though!
