gearbox question
just a quick one when the car is running and you look in the engine bay i can see a small hole ontop of the gearbox through which i can see either the flywheel or clutch spinning should there be a cover there and if so where can i get one thanks

Or go down the local scrap yard there should be plenty floating about on old audis and vws.
I dont mind project cars but I HATE SANDING!!!

Yeah, should be a little green cap. Think they're only a couple of quid new from Vw

great I will get one ordered just out of curiosity what is it I am seeing spinning round inside plus whats it there for in the first place

It's the flywheel - it's so you can see the ignition timing mark.
