Difference pb-DX engine

Ok does anyone know what the difference is between a 8v pb engine and a 8v DX
And can the same ht leads work on both engines

The PB engine was a Passat MK3 engine that run with Digifant, same 112 bhp as the DX.
No idea about the leads though!

Also the PB engine was fitted to late Mk2 golf GTi with the Digifant fuel system
Euro car parts list the same part numbers so I would guess the fit but I can't be 100% sure.

No worries. When I had a MK2 golf GTi for a short time with the PB engine it looked the same as the DX engine but with a different fuel system.
Let us know what you find out.

I had a PB in a mk2 Goof - I didn't find it as much fun as the earlier K-jet unit, but it may have just had a hard life (mind you the K-jet was at 167,000 miles and still strong when I scrapped the car!)
