just got a scirocco gtll got rear disks mkll gti calipers with no lines made up was wanting to know what handbrake cable is best to run an what braided brake hose am i best geting for it cheers

get goodridge braided hoses and for handbrake cables you should be able to buy genuine rocco ones made for rear disks found on the 16v.

Nice one jimbo al give them a phone get them orderd ive got mk3 gti calipers on the front will a mk2gti braided hose set do also ive been told a mk1 cabrio fuel filler neck should be moded to fit my rocco with a space saver will this work ? Cant wait to get her on the road lol

Golf Mk1/cabrio fuel filler pipe needs shortening and the top end altering.

If you're buying a new filler neck, you can get an original from VW Classic Parts for around £100 that requires no modification and still uses your existing fuel cap.

I'm 20 miles west of you going by your username.
There is also assistance available in Wishaw, Breahead and East Ayrshire X 2 if you get stuck.
Don't know if any of us have messed about with the filler necks but I'd go for a straight swop rather than "adjustments".

Nice one im at lesmahagow five min from wishaw orderd mk 3 calipers only to realise their to big for the wheels that are on it hope my g60 steelies will fit and the wallet fits the bill for 4new tyres lol
