Rocker Gasket for mk3 golf discontinued..?

I've been trying to locate the rubber upgrade rocker gasket (part no:026 198 025c) and have just been told by main dealer in south london that the part was discontinued in June of this year

Apparently a couple of other dealers are showing as having stock recently though one not to far from me,the other, milage... am currently waiting from a callback from the closer one!

Thought it might be useful information if anyone was thinking of getting this done.

Have also seen them on American and German but obviously postage costs make it a last resort.

If anyone has a spare one knocking about and surplus then give me a shout.

Fitted. Couldn't get the studs out using the two bolt method so resorted to a pair of small molegrips as I have no need for the old studs.

now time for a beer

I need one for my mk1 golf so better get my finger out and hope a dealer near me has one...

Yep, fortunately the dealer nearby rang me back yesterday with stock so that was my Saturday taken care of!

I would have thought it would be in demand as a part so don't know why it would be discontinued but that's what I was told.
Only stopped in June 2012 though so shouldn't be to hard to locate one, for now...
