Hi All
I have a mk2 1989 1800 GT with a pierberg.
The block has rusted quite bad so i can only see the dots that would represent the corners of the letters E or D . based on six dots presumed its an EX.
Is the any other way of determining engine type ?
want to double check my timing but need to be sure of engine version.
Thanks
Ed
Engine type identification dx, ex etc

Also on V5 document - EX will be the first characters of the engine number.
