HI All,
I am looking for stock 2E head flow data as well as flow rates from modified 2E heads.
I race in the US and currently have a JH head. I am looking for another 8V head that has the potential for better flow.
How are the intake manifolds for the 2E? are they decent? It looks like you can bolt up a nicer TB to these than the older 8V intakes in the US.
thanks
Craig

Re: 2E Euro Head and Intake Flow
The forum at www.clubgti.com is a mine of information about different engines. Take a look in the technical sections there.
All I recall about the mk3 intake is that it's a bit taller than the mk1/2 and can have clearance issues in a mk1 if used with a mk3 block.
A chap called Jason Moyles has done a lot of flow work/testing on crossflow and counterflow heads - he might be able to offer advice - https://www.jmrclubsport.co.uk
