We have secured the use of the same hotel as last year however they are very busy the weekend of the National

Rooms are LIMITED

If you are interested in a room we need to know ASAP

Location and name of Hotel will be revealed via PM or E-mail as the hotel wish to keep the information quiet due to the special rate we get.

Rooms cost £57.50 per room per night INCLUDING breakfast

So far the following has been reserved:

Single rooms

Sean - Sat
Kevin - Fri &Sat
Ed - Sat
Colin - Sat
Dave V - Sat

Double Rooms

Edwin - Fri-Sat-Sun
Dale - Sat
Wayne - Fri-Sat

Double Rooms + Babies

If everybody can let me know if any of these are incorrect asap?

I will then send a spreadsheet to the hotel with peoples emails as understood from their SR account - the hotel will then send each of you an email requesting credit card/guarantees but payment will not be required until check in of course.

Cheers

Sean

Rooms reserved for Ant/Emma and Bill/Carol too.

That's the usual hotel booked up now - there's a conference in town that weekend apptly. If you're not camping I'd suggest sourcing a hotel yourself asap if you're not part of the SR booking detailed here. We can always meet up for beers and food.

The hotel is full - there is a conference in town on the saturday apptly.

If people want me to I'll enquire re a wait list and/or if they can liaise with the other hotels nearby. Given distances we can all still meet up in the evening easily enough?

Ok.
The hotel is booked and are not expecting any cancellations due to aforementioned conference.

At this stage, to make sure you've got something they recommended to try the other local hotels.

Reluctant to name any hotel on public forum for obvious reasons.

Pm or FB me for name of alternate that they recommended Tracey.

Should add to the atmosphere in the bar on the Saturday.

SHARING THE MEMBERS EMAIL ON HERE TOO

The 8th August is looming but for those of you who haven’t yet booked into the usual hotel in Telford we’re sad to report that the venue is fully booked due to a conference that weekend. When we first spoke to the xxxxxxx they had nine rooms only and were not able to hold them for more than 48hrs whilst we alerted people via the forum initially.

They are even reluctant to start a wait list given the size of the event so unless you have booked already then you will need to explore local alternatives.

A good place to start is Trivago, Bookings.com or Lastminute.com if you’re familiar with using such search sites.

For those who prefer to phone up here are the numbers of local hotels that we know of OR have stayed at during other events. They’re all very local and this means that we can all still meet up for drinks and dinner on the Saturday evening.

Holiday Inn Telford - Ironbridge, St Quentin Gate, Telford TF3 4EH, 01952 527000
Park Inn Radisson - Forgegate - Telford center Shropshire – TF3 4NA – 01952 429 988
The International Hotel, Telford, St Quentin Gate, Telford TF3 4EA, 01952 521600
Premier Inn Telford International Centre Hotel, St Quentin Gate, Telford TF3 4EJ, 0871 527 9500
Days Inn Telford Ironbridge M54, Welcome Break Service Area J4, Shropshire, GB TF11 8TG, 01952 238400

So - fingers crossed we can see as many of you as per previous years at some stage of the evening - given the nature of the conference that we have identified as ‘clashing’ with us this year we’d recommend you to sort a hotel asap.

Best Regard

Team SR

NOTE - we never publically name the main hotel for obvious reasons.
