Canadian Scirocco Slegato info sheet

Post by Dr. Dub »

A very kind chap on the VW Vortex supplied me with the rear page of the mythical Canadian Scirocco Slegato info sheet.
You may or may not know, the front side of it has been in circulation for years. Finally, after 15+ years of searching, we have a scan of the back.

Not seeing this has really bugged me.

What on Earth are 'Henrich' styled wheels? It's good to have this at long last. I think of the Slegato as a Scala+. Heated seats and electric mirrors etc.

Dr Dubb, very interesting , never heard of this before. Looks like it also came with rear discs.

Where did the Slegato Badges get placed, on the front wing.

Only 127 ever made? rarer than a 16v.

The Slegato badges are on the B-pillars. The same as a Scala, GTX etc. I don't think they had rear discs. That was a 16v thing as far as I know.

The badges on the wings are Karmann logos. The same ones were used on Mk1 Golf cabs.

I'm only going by the photograph in the link as that Slegato has discs fitted to the rear.
