Are there any considerations with running 15" wheels?
Have a spare set of VW 15" BBS RZ (ET33) which I originally got for the Corrado and was thinking they might look quite good on the GTX
(Just need to source some centre caps that fit!!)

No, 15s are fine. You want 195/50 profile unless your car's lowered, in which case consider 195/45 (more for appearance than any concerns about clearance).

Undecided on new rims!
Would 7j fit OK (standard suspension) or would the wider tyres make the steering heavier.
