Ronal turbo

Post by snowbeluga »

Hey all, I'm pretty much about to purchase some ronal turbos, 15 x 7 et 28

Will these go straight on without any problems though, I'm not slammed and don't ever intend on it. I was more worried that they'd foul suspension.

Any advice would be rad.

Thanks

Max

They'll physically fit with no problems - the lower ET means they'll be further away from the suspension and closer to the arch. You might get some handling/tramlining issues to varying degrees but it all depends on how you drive and what's acceptable to you. I only keep the RTs on my mk1 for a couple of months - but then I did go through about 20 sets of wheels in two years :hehe:

They sit nice on the rocco. but they seem to be a rather soft material, and do dent quite easily. if you're showing the car then they'll be fine, but if you plan to drive it quite hard you may want to look elsewhere, specially if buying new. just a thought :)

It has been lowered since, not a silly amount, just enough to put about an inch or so between the wheels and the arches... If that makes sense...
