Foam strip

Post by Nutty »

For better or for worse I decided to remove the dash board out of Nutty to have a go at recovering it with vinyl, ground out the cracks and filled with Fiber flex rods, seems to stick OK. During the dismantling I came across foam strip stuff on most vents etc., does anyone have apart number or a suggestion what to use to reduce the chance of things rattling, I don't think B&Q draft excluder will do the job. Thanks, Will

Search "expanding foam tape" on Google - loads of thicknesses and widths available online.

VW part no is 321819143A, width 8mm, height 8mm, pretty sure it's polyurethane foam tape.
