not going into gear properly

hey all, my gf bought this today :)

needs a bearing and it doesnt go into gear very well the leaver feels very everywhere, have taken the leavers off the gearbox and moved the arm ad it feels ok, so just wondering if anyones got any suggestions? is it the rods or the shifter box itself?

Gear linkage and bushes mate I'd hazard a guess at. Not expensive just a pain in the backside and rather tedious to sort. You can/could buy the whole kit from eBay for £20 ish posted.

cool, cheers for the reply, i got a scala standing in the garage which goes itno gear very well, so i'll take em off that i think :)
