Nice video of the French Scirocco club
Our Scirocco associate in France, Rodolphe Woog, sent me a link to a video from a TV show over there. It featured three Sciroccos from 'Passion Scirocco', the French version of the Scirocco Register. Rod's 16v sounds glorious. And the Cobalt blue Mk1 so beloved by myself also puts in an appearance. ...

Re: The future of caar clubs in the Facebook age
I detest Facebook. Nowadays it as though you must comply with Facebook, iphones, Twitter etc. No thanks, I'll stick with good old forums, independent websites that aren't part of Facebook and my Android phone. The drop off of fantastic VW shows like BVF can't be blamed on Facebook can it? Maybe it's...

Re: mk1 storm
Spent some time looking through old adverts, articles etc. in my collection of VW Motoring mags to try and find some of the 79s. Took an age as I have every issue from Jan 1977 - Dec 2005. :-o Anyway, I think we now know of 16. I'll list them all here so they are in one place. Some more pics too. ht...

Re: Spotted
Was behind a green Rocco GT in chesterfield, looked decent nick but not sure if the person driving was the owner as he didn't let on to me in mine and I was following for a while. Looked more like a mechanic taking it for a test drive. Never seen one round there before tho . Maybe im not the only R...

Beautiful Cobalt metallic Rocco in France
Whilst browsing the French Scirocco forum, I came across this beauty. http://img4.hostingpics.net/pics/967663P1030262.jpg I've never seen a Scirocco in Cobalt blue, I absolutely love this car. Are there any UK Mk1s left that are in this colour? Link to the thread, translated into English http://www....

Re: 85 GT
Nice one Bill. Will be great to see a nice non-bodykit GT that is prepared to your ultra high standards. Please tell me that you went all 'TRON' on those 80's wheel trims and threw them as far away as possible.

Parcel shelf clip alternative, maybe?
Been looking through my box of VW bits and bobs and came across a bonnet stay clip that made me think "Hmm, maybe that could be adapted for the parcel shelf". Then I got thinking about some of the fir tree clips we used at work. So a quick look online and I came across these. http://www.br...

Well done Matt. That looks 'rate well'. I'm sure I've seen pics of that from years ago. Somewhere in the archive there will be pics, I'll start digging.

Re: Kamei part number anyone?
That's the one. Thanks Sean.
The décor set must have been discontinued in the late 80s then.
Not that I'm after one, but I wonder if anybody has a set kicking around gathering dust. They probably fetch a packet on ebay.

Kamei part number anyone?
Does anybody have an old Kamei brochure with the part number for the side stripe/decor set shown in this photo?
My Kamei catalogue is from 1988 and shows the stripe kit but lists no part number.
Thanks for any help.

That looks sa-weeeeet. Love the BBS split rims. Is the Mk4 Golf across the road part of your fleet too?

Re: The Gl
Watching this one with interest. Is that the Kamei X1 front spoiler I can see on the passenger seat?
The scene needs more X1 Roccos. Great to see another one being resurrected.
