Re: Scala Badges - Silver or Black?

It depends on the colour of your car. You are right, the paint must have worn off of yours. The badges came with the script in either white, paprika red, sapphire(light blue metallic) or Inca (dark blue if I remember right). There may have been more, but the rule of thumb is they are colour coded to...

Re: Spotted

Spotted a red Mk2 in North Wingfield, Chesterfield yesterday (Sunday). I was in my blue Mk2 GT. By an amazing twist of fate, Thomas D was in the car with me whilst over here from the States. What are the odds?

Re: Spotted

My brother saw your Scala in Morrisons car park a few weeks ago. He took a pic for me but I have yet to copy it from his phone. I also spotted a Mk2 GTII and a Corrado together down Brimington road north.

Re: Spotted

Spotted a very tidy white Scala on Chatsworth road, Chesterfield this morning. It then headed down Markham road and towards Horns bridge. I was in a blue Lupo. My guess is it was Hulmzey72. Been on the lookout for that Scala for ages if so.

Re: Cheating!

If VW with all their resources needed to do this to get emissions 'under control', you can bet the farm that other manufacturers have too.

All you have to do to cheat the ECU is plug in an Xbox controller and input L R L R U D U D X Y right trigger A.

Re: MK1 Storm Passes MOT.. but....

Looking forward to seeing progress with this. It could be the age old problem of crud in the fuel system causing you problems if the car has been stood. Result with the MOT though. Nice one.

Could anyone please help with a few pics. I'm after pics of the colour code sticker from Mk1 Storms. UK Mk1 info for our French Scirocco friends.

Please get your thinking caps on chaps, I'm not that clued up on Mk1 Sciroccos. I had an email from a fellow French Scirocco fan asking about details on UK spec Mk1s. Here are the questions that I answered as best I could. Please add any info or correct what I've put. How many Mk1 Sciroccos have bee...
