Shavhead yes it was worth it ,that looks spot on.
I nearly got a TS from Italy but it was sold before I could make arrangements with my friends who live there.

My Mk1 ibiza red Scirocco TS was built in aug 74 and registered on 22 11 1974. Must be one of the oldest. Thats proper old, mines an Ibiza red Scirocco TS built in Oct '74 and registered 27 11 1974. Can anyone help me with the vw part numbers for the following parts? Chrome bumper front chrome bumper rear bumper brackets front and rear bumper end caps front and back Rub strips for bumpers front and rear rear lights without the chrome strip at top (not sure on years )? My copy of etka is too new...

Coming along nicely .
I fitted the same superflex rear beam bushes to my mk1,have to agree they are a right pig to fit.

I am in Taunton ,the last scirocco mk1 I saw was in Bridgwater a red one with factory steel sunroof ,that was a couple of years ago. There is a good trimmer in Langport my brother had a seat repaired he done a excellent job,can get you a number if that helps. My mk1 has been laid up for a number of ...

Still awaiting price from the trimmers, will chase it up tomorrow. Just want it back home so I can start looking through carboard...
